Day 7 Sacramento, CA to Jackson, CA

So today(yesterday lol) we were in Jackson, CA with no wifi and no cell service so I couldnt post anything at all so here I am a day later posting....

So today we woke up at 5am because we were punished for taking too long the day before to get ready in the morning. We had a really awesome breakfast of these cupcake egg do jobbers that were cooked by Emily Kashtan. We then left the middle school and went out on a 43ish mile ride from Sacramento to Jackson. It was really nice at first but right towards the end there was a really long but not too steep hill. It pretty much drained everything that we had. We arrived in Jackson and had a really awesome arrival. We even had a police escort.  So for the next few hours we were served lunch (chili dogs)by and hung out with the ARC of Amador County which helps people with disabilities and they had about 50 people there that we hung out with and signed things for and were cheering for us when we rode in all cool and such.

After that we headed back to our lodging but it was a little different. We all had to ride our bikes up something that was very similar to lombard street in San Fran.  It was like a 15 or so % grade. It was tough and not too many made it up in one shot, I know I didnt lol.  We arrived at the highschool that we were staying at and showered and me and some others took a trip out to the bike shop and cvs to get some supplies. Then we came back and got ready for our sponsored dinner at Mel and Faye's Diner. It was really cool we were in the banquet room downstairs and the dinner was sponsored by the Lions club and Mel and Faye.  We chatted with them and had awesome food and then headed back to lodging where I went out to walmart to get a few things and then organized everything for the night.

I recorded a video that hopefully I will be able to upload tonight.

We went to bed about 10pm as we knew that we had our hardest day the next day.

Until next time
